Data You Give Us Directly
Search Queries
A name or case number entered in a search tool is transmitted to the independent provider operating that tool. The provider processes the query and supplies any result. Doña Ana County Court Docket does not retain or log those entered search terms.
Messages and Contact Submissions
If you send an email, the message may be retained to allow a response. It remains within the organization unless disclosure is required by law.
Data We Gather Automatically
When a page loads, servers may receive technical details associated with the visit:
- Page-view timestamps
- The referring site, when one is supplied
- Pages viewed and time spent on them
- Device type and operating system
- Browser type and version
- The IP address assigned to the device
Cookies and Analytics
This resource uses cookies, which are small files placed on a device. They help measure aggregate use, including popular pages and points where visits end. Browser settings can block cookies, although some functions may then behave differently. Analytics services process aggregated traffic information for those purposes.
What We Do With This Data
- Operating, securing, and improving page performance
- Diagnosing and correcting technical problems
- Routing a search query to the provider selected for that tool
- Assessing how visitors use pages and functions
- Displaying advertising that may reflect user interests
No Court-Record Data on File
This resource does not host, maintain, compile, or sell a database of court dockets or personal case-record information. It provides general routing information for Doña Ana County records held by the Third Judicial District Court, other custodian courts, and New Mexico Case Lookup. It is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, and visitor data is not assembled into consumer reports or files about third parties.
Third-Party Search Partners
Outside companies operate the search boxes on this resource. Data entered there is handled under the provider’s privacy policy, not this policy. Each provider controls its own retention and sharing practices. Review that provider’s policy before submitting a query.
Links to Other Websites
Links on this resource may lead to court and clerk pages, trial-court portals, New Mexico Case Lookup, legal-aid organizations, and third-party search tools. Once a link takes you to another service, that service’s privacy policy controls its handling of personal information.
Some advertising partners may track activity across services in order to display targeted advertising. That tracking occurs on their systems.
Who Might See Your Data
Personal data is not sold. Information may be received by:
- Search providers that process submitted queries
- Analytics vendors used to assess traffic and performance
- Advertising networks that place ads on pages
- Government agencies or law enforcement when a valid legal requirement applies
How We Protect Your Data
Standard security practices are used to protect collected data. No internet-connected system is completely secure, however, and this resource cannot promise that a security incident will never occur.
Users Under 18
This resource is intended for adults and does not knowingly collect personal information from a person under 18. If information from a minor is identified, it will be removed.
Your Data Rights
The New Mexico Inspection of Public Records Act, NMSA 1978 § 14-2-1, and Rules 1-079 and 1-079.1 NMRA govern public inspection and restricted access to court records held by the courts. They do not make this private resource the custodian of court files. At a minimum, you can:
- Request a copy of information held about you
- Ask that inaccurate information be corrected
- Request deletion of your information
- Opt out of certain data-processing activities
