Use the official channel that matches the record and court level:
- A docket entry or case status: begin with Case Lookup, then request the docket from the custodian court if needed
- A hearing date or setting: review Court Dates and confirm the setting with the court holding the case
- A certified copy: request it from the clerk who is the record custodian
- A district-court case: use Case Lookup by party name or case number, then contact the Third District clerk for official information
- A case file or court record: use Court Record Search to identify the correct clerk and request route

Public hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. For a magistrate or municipal case, contact that court’s own clerk because the Third District clerk is not its file custodian.
